TruckDeck Multimon

Included with TruckDeck 1.6.6.1 for an all-in-one trucking setup, and still available as a portable tool. Picture-in-Picture (PiP) on your main screen, stacked dual, and ready-made presets.

What it does

TruckDeck Multimon writes ETS2/ATS multi-monitor config for you — multimon_config.sii and patches config.cfg (r_multimon_mode / resolution) — so you can run stacked dual, Picture-in-Picture on MAIN, and more without hand-editing files.

  • Bundled with TruckDeck 1.6.6.1 — launch it from TruckDeck or the Start menu
  • Portable ZIP remains available for standalone use
  • Built-in presets (dual, triple, quad, five, six-surround, stacked layouts)
  • PiP on MAIN — free-place side cameras on the primary screen at native resolution
  • Camera arrows for heading / pitch / FOV (zoom); load cameras from an existing multimon_config.sii
  • Windows 10/11 · .NET Framework 4.8
  • Does not require TruckDeck.exe

What is Picture-in-Picture (PiP)?

PiP means Picture-in-Picture (not Python’s package tool). It is an extra camera view drawn as a panel on top of your main driving view.

In SCS games there is still only one game window. Multimon does not create true separate full-screen apps per monitor — it lays out regions inside that window.

PiP on MAIN

The game stays at your MAIN monitor’s native resolution (for example 3440×1440). Center cabin fills MAIN. Left / Right / Mirror views are free-placed and resized as inset panels on that same screen. Use the camera controls to tweak heading, pitch, and zoom (FOV), then Apply (game closed) and relaunch.

Best when you want side / mirror cameras without stretching one giant mismatched canvas across stacked monitors of different sizes.

Full-span dual (not PiP)

Classic stacked layout: bottom monitor = center road view, top monitor = split side windows. The game window spans the whole Windows desktop (for example 3440×2520). Use this when you want real second-screen views on a physical top monitor.

SCS allows up to four monitor_config regions (Center + up to three PiP panels).

Quick start

  1. Prefer TruckDeck 1.6.6.1+ and launch Multimon from the TruckDeck window or Start menu.
  2. Or download and unzip TruckDeck-Multimon-1.2.0.6.zip, then run TruckDeckMultimon.exe.
  3. Close ETS2/ATS if it is running (Apply is blocked while the game is open).
  4. For PiP: open PiP on MAIN → enable → place panels → adjust camera → Apply & Launch.
  5. For stacked dual: Layout / Screens → Stacked preset → Split 2 on the top monitor → Apply & Launch.
  6. Do not change in-game Display options after applying — that resets multimon.
  7. Optional in-game fine-tune (developer console): multimon set … then multimon save.
